This method is less stressful, easier, and more cost-effective than traditional treatments. Tortoise Wormer Plus is a flubendazole-based medication designed to combat intestinal helminthic worms and external ticks, ensuring your tortoise’s optimal health.

Worms are a common issue for tortoises and have often led to failed hibernations. While these parasites are usually harmless in healthy tortoises, they can become problematic when the animal is stressed or hibernating. This product effectively controls tapeworms and other helminths, promoting a successful hibernation period.

It’s recommended to use this product again when tortoises emerge from hibernation to aid their recovery and boost their strength after a long rest. Tropical tortoises should be wormed 2-4 times a year, while hibernating species should be treated before hibernation and again upon waking for safe recovery.

For maximum protection, administer the treatment every three months, similar to the routine for cats or dogs.

Usage Instructions:
Full instructions are included in the pack, along with a convenient blue measuring scoop.
Shake the sachet contents well and measure the correct dosage for each tortoise.
Sprinkle the dosage over enough food for one animal per meal per day.
Separate animals being treated if treating more than one at a time.
Treatment can be repeated for up to 4 days if necessary without ill effects.
Optionally, add the treatment to lukewarm bathing water (1 scoop per 2 liters), ensuring the tortoise can lift its head above the water for 20 minutes.
Administer 0.3g per 2 liters of lukewarm bathing water or sprinkle over enough food for one meal per animal.
Mist warm water over food to help the medication adhere for consumption.
The treatment can be safely re-administered if needed in heavy infestations.
